Der Nachhalt ist der Auftakt einer Publikationsreihe von Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer, die den Wandel des Architekturbüros caspar. zu einem Spezialisten für Nachhaltiges Bauen dokumentiert und unterstützt. Das Cover fokussiert die Kreisform, die hier metaphorisch für unsere schützenswerte Erde steht und zugleich für die fließende Auseinandersetzung mit den Themen Nachhaltigkeit und Architektur. Unter Nachhaltigkeit verstehen wir den Diskurs über die ökologischen, ökonomischen und sozialen Ansprüche unserer Gesellschaft. Verstärkt wird dieser Eindruck durch den zarten, fast fragil wirkenden Gelbverlauf und die nicht vollständige Darstellung der Kreisform. Der aus 100% recyceltem Material bestehende Umschlagkarton mit seinen prägnanten Einschlüssen verleiht dem Buch einen natürlichen und lebendigen Ausdruck und erzeugt so ein stimmiges Gesamtbild.

Diese Arbeit wurde mit dem »ICONIC Award 2022, Innovative Architecture – Winner« für eine exzellente Zusammenarbeit in der Kategorie »Communication« ausgezeichnet.

Während eines Praktikums war ich Teil des Projektteams für "Der Nachhalt - Prolog" im Studio für Gestaltung in Köln .

This is the first in a series of publications by Caspar Schmitz-Morkramer that documents and supports the transformation of the architectural practice caspar. into a specialist in sustainable building. The cover focuses on the circular shape, which here stands metaphorically for our earth, which is worth protecting, and at the same time for the fluid discussion of the topics of sustainability and architecture. By sustainability we mean the discourse on the ecological, economic and social demands of our society. This impression is reinforced by the delicate, almost fragile yellow gradient and the incomplete representation of the circular shape. The cover cardboard made of 100% recycled material with its concise inclusions gives the book a natural and lively expression and thus creates a coherent overall image.

This work was awarded the "ICONIC Award 2022, Innovative Architecture - Winner" for an excellent collaboration in the category "Communication".
